We have the really old 600-series phone socket. Previously tried getting internet but the current phone socket does not work, can you fix this or should we just get a new phone line installed? We are wanting to get adsl.

Thanks for your question.
There are two ways you can go around by upgrading your homes telecom wiring for your ADSL or VDSL (NBN for when you get it) connection.
1. Simply change your older style 610 sockets to the RJ style wall socket. This would be suffice enough, however if your internal phone wiring is old and corroded, then;
2. Replace entire phone cabling including socket within your home.
Of course replacing your entire phone line would be more beneficial however depending on the cost. From your question there maybe some underlying issues with your internal cabling and not directly related to your telephone socket.
I'd recommend calling our team and making a booking or you can even book an ADSL repair online.
