I tried to get NBN FTTP but the NBN technician said that the copper conduit was blocked and they couldn't pull through the fibre from the pit located about 10 meters away. What are my options and how can you help?

These issues happen all the time, as the current telstra or nbn telecommunications conduits are blocked from tree roots, dirt, rocks and other environmental conditions.
Option 1. As the customer, install an open trench from the PEP (property entry point) to the closest point of your house, generally where the power or existing telstra box is, and the technician can then run a direct bury fibre from the pit to the house. It will be your responsibility to reinstate the ground. NBN introduced a rule that direct bury being an option (no conduit requirement). This is because the external fibre cable is very tough, and has strengtheners that run along the fibre.
If you don't have the capacity to dig, or there are obstacles in the way, then;
Option 2. Take a couple of images, direct line of site from the street pit location towards your house, then one in reverse from the side of the house. Just general images showing the terrain, obstactles or anything that could hinder the new nbn fibre cable path.
You can send an e-mail with your name, address, mobile and including the images, and the team at Mr Telco can provide a quote. You'll usually receive a quote within a few hours. Mr Telco will do the full conduit installation, and include a drawstring. You are then to callback your RSP to have them re-engage the NBN technicians visit for installation of the cabling in your new conduit.
